Pièce d'orgue, BWV 572 - Johann Sebastian Bach | Secrets of Organ Playing Contest Week 55
This is my entry for the Secrets of Organ Playing Contest Week 55.
I'm playing Pièce d'orgue (Fantasia in G), BWV 572 by Johann Sebastian Bach.
This is a well known piece in the organ repertory for many reasons. It's divided into three distinct sections:
I. A single melody line that is lively and cheerful.
II. A five voice 'Grand Plein Jeu', Grave movement.
III. An extended, hypnotic, coda.
This was recorded on the 1721 Silbermann instrument in St. Georgenkirche Rötha, Germany, using the Hauptwerk VPO software.

This is quite a long piece, but I hope you enjoy it.
