Towards New Horizons, With Positive Energy!

It seems all the turbulence surrounding the recent Steemit update has settled down a bit.

In the meantime, we have reached a new season, and a new quarter on the calendar.

What happens now?

Often, we make plans around seasons and calendar dates. Do you have a plan for this fall season; for the 4th quarter of 2018?

At The White Light Express, we have many plans... but they are progressing slowly, mostly on account of financial constraints. Although we often hear of large organizations like the Red Cross or United Way with millions of dollars in operating budgets, the vast majority of charities are quite small.

Around here, we are just looking to touch people's lives in a positive way, while hopefully being able to cover our daily overhead expenses.

There are no "executive directors" receiving large salaries. In our 17 years, none of us have ever received a single cent of compensation.

We chose to be on Steemit specifically because people could "donate" and "give" through their upvotes, without having to actually reach into their pockets!

And so, this is a post of appreciation! We are grateful for everyone's readership, and that includes even those fractions of a cent from "the littlest minnow!"
