공매도에 대해 알아봐요
안녕하세요. 코인판의 소문을 듣고 찾아온 코린이 delight 7입니다. 앞으로 코인에 대해 같이 공부해봐요
공매도(Short position)
하락이 예상될 때 공매도를 하며, 공매도는 숏으로 불립니다. 예를 들어, 비트코인 1개를 들고 있는 진우가 비트코인 가격 하락을 예상하고 50배 레버리지로 공매도를 하는 경우, 진우는 우선 50개의 비트코인을 자동 매도하는 것과 같다. 비트코인 가격이 1,000만원에서 900만 원이 되어 진우가 직접 포지션 청산하는 경우 진우는 5,000만 원(수익률 +400%)이 총 자산 가치로 바뀝니다.
만약 상승 시, 강제 청산 당할 수 있는데, 비트코인 가격이 1,000만 원에서 1,010만 원이 가까워지면 강제 청산 당한다. -10만 원 X 100개= -1,000만원, 즉, 본인의 비트코인 1개는 사라진다. 원금 손실이 100%인 것이다. 그러므로 배율이 크면 강제 청산당할 수 있으므로, 거래 리스크(Risk)를 낮추기 위해 배율을 5~10배 정도로 설정하여 하면 100배에 비해 리스크를 많이 낮출 수 있습니다
공매도를 사용할 경우의 수는, 현물 보유시, 하락에 대한 가치 손실 리스크에 대한 해지 수단으로서 활용하면 자산 가치 하락에 대해 대응을 할 수 있어요!
공매도는 주식, 외환 시장에서 많이 활용되고 있습니다. 실제로 태국 바트화의 가치가 고평가 되어 있다고 여겼던 1997년 퀀텀 펀드는 태국 바트화에 대한 공격을 하여 페깅된 태국 환율을 변동 환율제로 바꾸게 하였죠. 여러분도 공매도로 자산 가치 하락에 대한 헷지를 해보셔요!
