Sabine Hossenfelder is a scientist at the Center for Mathematical Philosophy of the University of Munich in Germany who has a YouTube channel on physics. In one of her interventions on the Big Think channel, which I leave below, she tells how a taxi driver asked her: “ A shaman told me that my grandmother is still alive due to quantum mechanics. It's true?".

According to Sabine's conclusions, quantum physics has no relationship with life after death, but it is possible that it does make sense from the point of view of special relativity, since from this it follows, in the words of Abert Einstein himself, that "present, past and future are nothing but an stubbon illusion".

Contrary to what Sir Isaac Newton believed, time is not something absolute but is influenced by the speed of the observer and gravity, time does not flow the same on Earth as it does on the moon, nor does it take the same pace while standing still that being in motion, in fact, the faster the speed, the slower the time passes.

When we say now, we should think not only of our now, in which I am writing this post, but also the now that you read it and the now that is happening on Mars, in Andromeda or in any remote corner of the universe, imagine that the world is a loaf of bread and we can cut a slice out of "now".

If all this occurs in a static universe everything goes well, the problem arises when one of the actors of that now in the confines of the universe is in motion, depending on whether the entity in question is moving towards or away from us, his now may coincide with our future or with our past.

That is why it is logical to think that all the past has not gone but is still there, developing as if nothing had happened, we have simply continued our journey, even the future also exists a priori but we have not yet been able to access it or our brain is not able to remember or recognize it as future.
