Citizen Science: Project FeederWatch -- Count #20 Report w/Original Photos
Citizen science is a great way to involve children and adults in discovery and contribute to scientific research and conservation. Project FeederWatch through Cornell University is a great way to get involved in citizen science. You can learn more at the Project FeederWatch website.
I typically watch birds on Saturday and Sunday. This is my report for 23-24 March 2019.
The 2018-2019 season goes through 5 April 2019.

Saturday morning was cloudy with rain showers.
High: 54 (F) or 12 (C)
Low: 43 (F) or 6 (C)

Average Wind Speed: 10.6 mph
Highest Gust: 35 mph
Sunday, 24 March 2019
Sunday was cloudy. Overnight rain added another 0.25 inches (0.64 centimeters) to our monthly total.
High: 51 (F) or 10 (C)
Low: 47 (F) or 8 (C)

Average Wind Speed: 9.5 mph
Highest Gust: 20 mph
Squirrel Notes
On Saturday morning there were two squirrels on top my birds feeders. One was feasting on black oil sunflower seeds and the other was feasting on peanuts. Different tastes for different squirrels!
