The last 24 hours of the Earth Facing disc were quiet. Nothing to report. The coronal hole stream should start hitting us by Friday, if it does anything at all. The solar winds are calm and the Planetary K-index is down at the bottom levels of green.
Earthquakes and volcanoes of note
- 5.2 magnitude earthquake near Tobelo, Maluku Utara, Indonesia
- 5.2 magnitude earthquake near Santiago Llano Grande, Oaxaca, Mexico
Space Objects
At least 8 new Near-Earth Objects(NEO) added to the database. Including the bus sized one passing closer than the Moon today.
Today’s Launches
- Soyuz • ISS 54S - A Russian government Soyuz rocket will launch the crewed Soyuz spacecraft to the International Space Station with members of the next Expedition crew. The capsule will remain at the station for about six months, providing an escape pod for the residents.
