From not-so-real reality TV shows, to theme parks creating their own versions - recreational-wise - of organisms that lived thousands of years ago, to the President admitting to challenge proven scientific principles and generally undermine substantial science policy progress as started by the previous administration, from all the myriad ideologies and isms and schisms in the world right now - we do need a reminder that science is real. That science has been responsible for the progress that the world has gone through since man walked the earth.

All the talk (or questions) about the safety or need of vaccines, of climate change, of species extinction, of environmental damage done by man, stem cell research, etc. have all been polarized and twisted to suit politics and policy making. And despite the many anti-science claims made by Trump in his speeches and pledges, it's time for all of us to be reminded that almost all of our favorite things right now, the many gadgets that we take for granted, the many technologies that help us in our everyday lives, have come from basic research.

Scientists and science lovers all over the country - and from all over the world - are set to take the streets of their cities on April 22, 2017 for the Earth Day protest March for Science.

It's time to stand up for science. Science is real. Already there are t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, and other products available on Amazon, and other online stores.

Trump is probably one of the most ignorant people on Earth.

He knows exactly what he is doing. He is getting even more rich off of his anti science claims lmao
