10 MORE MOONS DISCOVERED AROUND THE PLANET JUPITER..........

   HOW WAS THE DISCOVERY MADE?????

                        The discovery was started in the march of last year when Astronomers were searching for a mythical planet called as NINE.

                          But it took almost one year for Astronomers to confirm that they are really the moons of the planet Jupiter by observing that they are orbiting around the planet Jupiter in a fixed path.

                     All this information has submitted to the INTERNATIONAL ASTRONOMICAL UNION (IAU) and which recognizes the moons of Jupiter.

                 With the discovery of new 10 moons, the planet Jupiter have 79 moons revolving around it which is the most for any planet yet.

  INFORMATION ABOUT NEW MOONS :

                      New moons have the range up to  1km to 3km. Out of 10 moons 7 are revolving at a distance of 20 million kilometers away from the planet while the rest are so close to the planet.Moreover there is an oddball moon who is revolving in opposite direction to that of others and has been given the name "Valetudo"

              Scientists are hoping that with this new discovery they might going to reveal some mysterious facts about past universe.
