Geureudong Pasee Sub-district, located in North Aceh District. live here various animals such as the types of monkeys with an area of 37,545 hectares,This area serves for several purposes, among others, for the benefit of researchers, science and education.
Geureudong Pasee sub-district is an unspoiled ecosystem, and some are unnatural (Disturbed forest),The changes will affect the types of flora and fauna found in Geureudong Pase Subdistrict.One of the fastest changes is forest vegetation and ecosystem stability so that it will affect the life of fauna, one of them is ape species.
This area has a very good ecosystem condition and comfortable place of research, on the other hand there is also a disturbed of human deeds, may have an influence on the types of ape.

Ape are part of a member of a primate order that binds high emissions to the human species. Other groups of orders are lemurs, tarsiers, lemurs, forest people, weasels.
The number of species of ape inhabiting a place is not only determined by the availability of shelter and food sources,but must be safe from interference that hampers its preservation. This disturbance, perhaps human activity such as; reconstruction and rehabilitation at the site.
In Sumatra, this type of ape can be found in North Regency. One is in the forest of Geureudong Pasee Sub-district. The types of ape in this area because of the nearby mountains, rivers, and trees here is a habitat that is safe and secure for ape species, in addition to adequate food, this area also provides protection from predators.
Disturbed forests are degraded forests because human activities such as deforestation and permanent land conservation can lead to a reduction of trees or increased damage to forests that result in the loss of forest products as a service to the animal ecosystem. essentially this damage buksn based on biological but the distance between roads, houses, factories and other development.
Based on temporary observations in disturbed forest in Geureudong Pasee sub-district there are still many types of ape such as: Macaca fascicularis, Macaca Nemestrina, Prisbitis tomasi, Trachyphythucus villosus dan Hillobates lar. According to local community information.
- My goal in writing on this platform is To know the types of ape in the forest disturbense this area.

Kecamatan Geureudong Pasee, terletak di Kabupaten Aceh Utara. disini hidup bermacam hewan seperti jenis- jenis monyet dengan luas Areal 37.545 hektar, Kawasan ini berfungsi untuk beberapa macam tujuan, antara lain untuk kepentingan peneliti, ilmu pengetahuan dan pendidikan.
Kecamatan Geureudong pasee merupakan Ekosistem yang masih alami, dan ada juga yang tidak alami(Hutan terganggu ), perubahan tersebut akan berdampak pada bagian jenis flora dan fauna yang terdapat di kecamatan Geureudong Pasee. Salah satu yang paling cepat mengalami perubahan adalah vegetasi hutan dan kestabilan ekosistem sehingga akan berpengaruh kehidupan fauna, salah satunya jenis-jenis Kera.
Kawasan ini memiliki kondisi ekosistem sangat baik dan nyaman tempat penelitian, disisi lain ada juga yang sudah terganggu dari perbuatan manusia, mungkin menimbulkan pengaruh pada jenis- jenis monyet. Berdasarkan oservasi awal pada kawasan ini banyak terdapat jenis- jenis hewan tersebut, oleh karena itu saya tertarik untuk melakukan penelitian tentang fauna Dengan Judul" Jenis- Jenis Kera di Hutan Terganggu kecamatan Geureudong Pasee Kabupaten Aceh Utara Profinsi Aceh, Indonesia."
Kera adalah bagian dari dari anggota ordo primata yang mengikat emisional yang tinggi dengan spesies manusia. kelompok lain dari ordo adalah lemur, tarsius, kukang,orang hutan, musang.
Jumlah jenis-jenis Kera yang mendiami suatu tempat tidak hanya di tentukan oleh ketersediaan tempat tinggal dan sumber makanan, akan tetapi harus aman dari gangguan yang menghambat kelestarikannya. Gangguan ini, mungkin aktivitas manusia seperti; dilakukan rekontruksi dan rehsbilitasi di tempat tersebut.
Di sumatera, Jenis-jenis Kera ini dapat di temukan Kabupaten Utara. Salah Satu adalah di hutan Kecamatan Geureudong Pasee. Jenis- jenis monyet yang ada di kawasan ini karena dekat gunung, sungai, dan pohon- pohon yang ada di sini tersebut merupakan habitat yang cicok dan aman bagi jenis-jenis kera, selain cukup makana, daerah ini juga memberikan perlindungan dari predator.
Hutan terganggu adalah hutan yang suda rusak karna aktivitas manusia seperti penebangan hutan dan konservasi lahan secara permanen bisa menimbulkan suatu penurunan pohon atau peningkatan kerusakan terhadap hutan yang menyebabkan hilangnya hasil - hasil hutan sebagai layanan ekosistem hewan tersebut. intinya kerusakan ini bukan berdasarkan biologis melainkan jarak antara jalan, rumah penduduk, pabrik dan pembangunan lain.
Berdasarkan pengamatan sementara di hutan terganggu di kecamatan Geureudong Pasee masih banyak terdapat jenis- jenis monyet antara lain:
Macaca fascicularis, Macaca Nemestrina, Prisbitis tomasi, Trachyphythucus villosus dan Hillobates lar. Menurut informasi masyarakat setempat.
