Learn to smile, even if the fig tree does not bloom

in #sc-v5 years ago

Habakkuk 3: 17-18
Even though if the fig tree does not flower
nor in the vines there are fruits,
even if the product of the olive tree is missing
and the carvings do not give maintenance,
even if the sheep are removed from the flock
and there are no cows in the pens,
Yet I will rejoice in the Lord,
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation

When all the circumstances of our life offer a negative picture, in the case of a personal loss or failure, or because of something that causes us pain or sorrow, that is the time to place our faith in God and in his word. Thus we can glimpse the glorious end of all this through the eyes of God. This makes us adore and praise God even in the midst of the worst circumstances.

It is evident that when we think about the things that can happen in life together with the worries, the problems, the stress and the struggles that we live through every day, we forget one thing that can change everything from "smile".
How important it is that you can look at a smile in the people who daily walk around you. Today it seems that the smiles have faded from the human faces because everyone has gotten into their own problems without hope and it has cost them to smile.

A smile can illuminate a room, break the ice, bring strangers closer, make routine days special and even mitigate conflicts. It is totally free and yet sometimes it costs us a lot to give it away. As if we were tired to smile, we thought that it was going to take time, or we feared that with her we would give a part of ourselves.

The most fascinating of all is that, if it is authentic, the smile has many benefits for our health, and not only mental and emotional health. It is shown that smiling helps to secrete endorphins.
Someone in the Bible discovered that it was necessary to laugh even if everything seemed to collapse around us.

Habakkuk discovered that the man of God has hope and even if his world is broken, God is in control of everything he discovered that even if the fig tree did not give new shoots or find fruit in the vines, even though the harvest of the olive tree was missing, he still found it better to rejoice in the Lord. Therefore he said: I will rejoice in God who is my deliverer!

God longs for you to be able to say: Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, and rejoice in the God of my salvation...For He wants you to learn to smile even if the fig tree does not bloom.

Nice reflection @xioran. Our joys are not bubbles that only shine and burst. They are not Sodom apples that turn to ashes in our hand. Our delights have substance, they are real, true, solid, lasting, eternal! Our joy is a condition of the soul that although we have storms, God strengthens us and in the same way we will enjoy ourselves in Him.
Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful message, what's more, I dare say that a Christian who does not smile should not call himself a Christian. We must remember that we infect people with our attitude.

and the smile plays a fundamental role in all that. The word says, that a cheerful heart beautifies the face. And if we have God in our hearts, our face must reflect the greatest possible joy.

Because that is how others see that when we approach God we see things differently, since our trust is placed in him.

I have shared this post with friends so they also remember that we should ALWAYS SMILE !!!

Thanks for the good content.
