Something God demands of us is that we be light, Matthew 5:14 says "you are the light of the world." The Lord has constituted each of us to be a light for the whole world.

All the children of God have a unique light that differentiates us from others, and it is very important to illuminate anyone who is in darkness, we are called to help those who are in darkness and it is important that that light we possess never goes out.

We have to learn to be light anywhere, whether at work, at school, on the street, but especially at home with the family, we as children of God can lead others to their admirable light, and the testimony or light that we transmit to others should be good.

If we are the only believers in our family, it is up to us to enlighten the rest, so that they see change and difference. To this world that lives mowed by darkness, what it lacks is a touch of light and that's when we enter to enlighten and protect them. Let us remember the light of the world and we should not let that light that is in us go out.
