RESTORING THE PATERNITY

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 6 He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to the fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. "

God's plan is the restoration of all things, and between them, giving back fatherhood, both to the Church and to the nations; This is the heart of God. In Him we find all that is masculine and feminine, but He has chosen to express Himself in function of Father / head. The new covenant declares: "they will know me, from the least to the greatest." God declared his purpose (2 Corinthians 6.16-18).

What is a father?

In the Hebrew language it is the word "abba", which means "daddy"; and in Greek is the word "patter", which comes from the word fatherland, both mean the same thing. "Abba" express a very close relationship with the father (Galatians 4.6).

"Abba" and "Pater" have several meanings:

In each of these names, God reveals a facet of his nature as a father to his people, and that is the ultimate goal, to become like him (Matthew 5:48).

A call to parents

Inspired by the Holy Spirit, Malachi shouted for the restoration of the heart of the parents to the children and with this the Old Testament was closed. When the New Testament begins, the book of Luke opens with:

"17E will go before him with the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and of the rebellious to the prudence of the righteous, to prepare the Lord a people willing"
