THE COUNCIL ON THE CONGREGATION
Thomas was absent from the fellowship of the brothers; and missed the opportunity to see the resurrected Christ on that occasion.
The same can happen to us: we can get rid of the most beautiful blessings by separating us from the communion of the people of God. Things that happen in the midst of a congregation of believers may not arise when we are alone. Not even the most special evangelical television programs can subsist the adoration of God in communion with the brothers.
The promise of the Lord is to be present where the believers gather in his name. Of course, He is also with his children isolated by circumstances, but when we have the privilege of meeting to worship the Lord, we should not lose the opportunity to do so.
The exclamation of Thomas: my lord, and my God! it is evidence that this disciple did not continue trying to impose his conditions to believe in the Lord. After the trials that Jesus presented to him he was willing to recognize Christ as "Lord" and "God."
the congregation is a mandate from the Lord, because all the scripture is inspired by God.
therefore we must not stop assembling, as many are accustomed.
In the congragaciones there are blessings of God, because the holy spirit is present.
