SEASON OF RESURRECTS!

👑 "For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath He given to the Son to have life in himself." (John 5 :26)

Coming to your focus, rediscovering your purpose. The sharper your focus, the sharper you are. Change of seasons always brings about transition. Your commitment to something is always tested by the change of seasons. Always keep it in mind, the question you are willing to ask determines your future. Every stage will always ask for more from you!

Therefore, "Starting In The Right Direction Is Key To Finishing In The Right Location."

How important is it to fathom what Jesus meant when He said in John, 14:6 - Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." Jesus isn't the Christian's way to the Father. Essentially, no Christian is on his way to the father; he does not need that. The sinners need 'a way' to the Father, which way Jesus is!

A Christian is not on his way to the Father. When you received Christ into you heart, you were born into God's Presence. Jesus was the avenue (way) through which one is born into God's Presence. You're there now; you don't need the way anymore. YOU'RE now to show others the way!

Jesus is the mediator between God and human beings. This is why he brought us salvation and now that we have received that salvation, we are now the Sons of God; we don't need amediator anymore! Though the world, the non Christians, need one, and that is why we have been given the Word and ministry of reconciliation, to lead them to Christ. We are therefore now, mediators working with Christ to bring men to salvation.

As we therefore preach the Gospel of Christ and reconcile people to Christ, you're fulfilling your ministry, as a saviour from Zion. Remember, He said, "...saviours shall come up on mount Zion..." (Obadiah 1:21); not "a saviour," which would have meant the Lord Himself; but "saviours," referring to you & me. He saved us to save others. John, 20:21 - Jesus therefore said to them again, "Peace be to you. As the Father has sent me, even so I send you." As the father sent Jesus, so has Jesus sent us out into the world to lead men to righteousness. We ought to live for this cause.

🧐 Pursuing God's Destiny For Your Life?

Pursuit is proof of Desire. Destiny is an experience we create by our choices and decisions make. But, that isn't all about destiny!*

Saint, no matter how much I succeed in "what I am not called to be", I am not effective before God. Loving God is the highest and most excellent calling on your life. It is the vital part of your destiny. It is all impossible to out live your destiny unless one loves God and is motivated by their love for God (1John 2:5-6). First John, 2:5 - "But whoever keeps his word, God's love has most certainly been perfected in him. This is how we know that we are in him."

If one therefore is motivated by anything else, their life pursuits are worthless and of no profit at all to you or anyone else, though they might appear great indeed to the world and even to the church.

Always remember that loving God and loving others are the very foundation of our destiny in God. God has a destiny for you, BECAUSE HE LOVES YOU! You will strive to lay hold of His destiny for you, BECAUSE YOU LOVE HIM (Phil 3:12).

🤷🏼‍♀ The World's Definition of Destiny

Destiny has been defined in many ways. Some look at destiny as a dream that they set out to achieve in this life, and the effort they put in towards achieving it.
In the long run, they are chasing one dream after another, and could simply lose sight of or enthusiasm for life.

Why would someone achieve all they longed for in life and in the end become disillusioned and commit suicide, die unhappy and satisfied? People win backbreaking, competitions and proclaim; "This was my destiny." Many great celebrities win an Oscar or Grammy awards, are heard to say, "I always knew (felt) this was my destiny!" The list goes on and on; people always take on challenging or even impossible dreams, realizing their earthly dreams and then declare that they have "accomplished destiny." If this is that entire destiny is all about, then what next?

In a very limited and humanistic way, the examples above interpret destiny as the Anticipated End because in their humanistic way of thinking, life ends here on earth. This school of thinking has so permeated the system of a good part of the world, which even Christians in those areas are obliged to think of destiny in this connect (context).

However, is that all there is to life here on earth? Ask yourself this question; When you reach the goal you had set for yourself and claim, "I have achieved my destiny", to which recommended standard are you comparing yourself to? Is it measured against other humanistic achievement standards? One great man of God said, "A lizard in one country can be considered a crocodile in another." All human standards are relative. If you are using human standards, then remember that challenges people encounter in order to achieve our dreams are measured differently depending on the spiritual, social, political and economic circumstances they find tthemselves in.

However, for every aspect of our lives, there is only one Foundation, and one absolute standard to measure up to, and that is Jesus Christ. The Bible says

"For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. If any man builds on this foundation using gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay or straw, his work will be shown for what it is, because the Day will bring it to light. It will be revealed with fire, and the fire will test the quality of each man's work."

Therefore, which things in your life can help you determine that the intensity of challenges and the consequent dreams you are achieving measure up to Jesus Christ? If you know God's course and desired ending for you in this life, that is the best standard to help you know if you are following the right course or not.

✍ What Is God's Destiny then?

It is the predetermined course which God ordained a person's life to follow and the good destination it is supposed to come to (Romans 8:29-30).

What does that mean? To be in God's destiny is to live your life in fulfilment of direction God planned and purposed for you in your generation. After that, to end your days on earth, not the way the devil or even you wanted to end, but ready for the Day of the Lord, then to have the pleasure of sharing in joy of your master.

When you look at Jeremiah's life in the Bible, you get an idea of God's purposes for each human being He allows to live on earth for any period of time. God told Jeremiah, "Before you were formed in the womb I knew you (Jer 1:5).

It means, Jeremiah existed in eternity even before He was manifested on earth. He already had a pre-determined role - a set part prophet. He did not come from nowhere.

When God was manifesting him on earth from eternity, God had a very specific purpose, a blue print to accomplish. He knew exactly what Jeremiah ought to become and what he ought to do, where and when he ought to do it and how he ought to do it. God put in him everything he needed to accomplish that purpose. Only after that did God then ALLOW him to enter into the realm of time, be conceived in his mother's womb and be born into the circumstances that he was in.

👉 We all know where we are, how we got there and when we got there, however, do you know why you are there?

God did not guess or gamble about Jeremiah's purpose. He had a pre-ordained plan of how He would have PREFERRED Jeremiah to move throughout his life. However, God also gave Jeremiah a free-will to CHOOSE how he would walk in this earth.

His end would be compared to God's pre-ordained purpose, and this is what would determine whether He finished well and accomplished God's destiny for him. God had a plan of how he would end and return to eternity. God's perfect purpose was to have Jeremiah run his course on earth as it is in heaven.

HOW DOES GOD WANT YOU TO END YOUR LIFE?

Jeremiah, 29:11 - For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end.

GOD has a blueprint of how your life should run. He wants you to end as a person redeemed from this world, whose life on earth has followed the same pattern as that in heaven. He wants you to accomplish everything your life was set out to do so that you can achieve the good end that God has, and obtain the consequent reward for it.

God has a plan beyond physical death. He talks of a future, not just during your life time on earth but eternally... He has placed eternity in your heart (Eccl 3:11). You were ordained before time began and you will be live after time ceases. He wants you to end this life with all that He ordained.

PRECISELY, God's destiny comprises of three distinctive components.

1. The pre-determined course of your life - one's lifetime - the path /way along which you fulfill with purpose and develop your final destiny.

2. The Ending - The Day of Lord - the final picture of your destiny.

3. Ministry Gifts, Equipping & Calling - which God has equipped you with to accomplish the events He prepared in advance for you to accomplish in your generation i.e. the tools for use along the course of your lifetime.

MISSING DESTINY

WHEN anything misses the purpose for which it was made, it comes into worthlessness. It loses its meaning and purpose for existing. Solomon missed the purpose for which he created. All the wealth and wisdom notwithstanding, he lost purpose and missed his destiny.

God told Jeremiah, "Get yourself ready! Stand up and say to them whatever I command you. Do not be terrified of them, or I will terrify you before them. Today, I have made you a fortified city, an iron pillar and bronze wall to stand against the whole land - against the king of Judah, its officials, its priests and the people of the land. They will fight against you but will never overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you, declares the Lord." (Jeremiah 1:17-19).

In other words, "If you don't rise up to pursue my destiny, I will bring you down myself." Why would He bring Jeremiah down? Because of Providence in his destiny! God had given him all that he required in order to fulfil his destiny.

The same happened with Solomon. He even received more than he had asked. You have no excuse not to fulfil your purpose. God has provided everything you need for your physical and see spiritual life.
"According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue," (2Peter 1:3)

Missing destiny is not about missing your purpose here on earth. You also miss what is prepared in eternity. That is why God's destiny is so important. It is not something you end with here on earth; just to start another thing in heaven.

God's Destiny is about the pre-determined course for your life, and the end you are supposed to come to. Missing Destiny means that you come to the end without the fruit that you were to bear during your life.

What Happens When We Miss Destiny?

(PROVERBS 1:22-33)

👉 If you choose to walk away from God, He too will walk from you. You have no reason to walk in any other way except the course that God has for you. You have a responsibility to press into what God has provided for you to fulfil His destiny in you.

God is not condemning you. He says, "I rebuke those I love." Remember that the destiny of your life is an incorruptible seed. If you choose to seek after it again, you can find it. It does not die.

If God was faithful enough to David, how much more is He faithful to our Lord Jesus Christ? For the sake of Jesus Christ, God will have mercy upon you. God will restore you if you humble yourself and begin to lay down everything to seek after Him in His way.

I would have loved to look for a more encouraging thing to show you about Solomon's life. What lessons do you learn from Solomon? The Bible says in Luke 16:10-12, "He, who is faithful in little, shall be entrusted with much," but that truth also works the other way. In other words, "He who is unfaithful in little will end up unfaithful in much."

Jesus said, "A little leaven leavens the entire loaf." TODAY the Lord is placing choices before you. Shall you remain with a little leaven? SOLOMON started with a little wrong idea, Are you going to choose to be faithful in little, so that you may be found worthy in bigger things?

It is not by power or by might that this happens. The Bible says, "Submit yourself unto the Lord, resist the evil one and he will flee from you. Humble yourself before the Lord and he will lift you up in due course," (James 4:7).

🙏🏻 It is not too late. If it were too late, God would not give us this Word. This Word has come to you because He does not want you, me to labour in vain (for nothing). He doesn't want you to go through this life doing meaningless activities. One day will you stand before God and say, "I never realized." Let your will and drive towards the sanctification of the Holy Spirit and fellowship with the Word, make your salvation effective.
