Yeah it's another day, still on the "I have a father" conference. Today was a blessing day, indeed I'm blessed by my father.
Morning section
Bible study
Topic: The fatherhood of God( Rights and privileges of a son)
Bible reading: Rom. 8:14
KJV:For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 KJV:For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
16 KJV:The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:
17 KJV:And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
What is right
Right is something that belongs to you legally, what is yours
What is privilege
privilege is a benefit that has no rules, in other words grace.
He(the teacher ) went ahead to explain what it's means to be led by the spirit of God, he says is to be control or influence.
We also see that we have many types of father such as foster father: a person that takes of a child that is not his. Biological father; that's is your real parents. Father by adoption, step father etc.
There are many names we call our fathers such as daddy, papa, pop man etc, a question was asked How do you call your father (heavenly father)?
The name you call your father determines your relationships with your father. Don't be afraid of anything because your heavenly father is there to protect you.
What is expected of a father towards the son?
- provision
- food - Psa. 25:5
- protection - Heb. 13:5b
- Training, upbringing and efficient teaching of the word of God. Gen. 18:17-19 etc.
God is our heavenly father and he will never cease in providing for us because we are his sons and daughters.
Evening section

Topic: Assessing the father's blessings
Reading passages : Matt. 7:11, Gen. 25:5-6, Gal. 4:4
God is a responsible father and he never lack a resources to feed his children. The way people behave and complain about God make God look irresponsible but our God is a lovely and responsible God, he cares for everyone.
A blessed child is a happiness to his father
A blessed child represent his father gloriously (John 2:11, John 17:22)
If you are a child of God, a Christian you must represent your father gloriously.
