Always Do First Things First

Hello dearies, I will like to share what I learnt in Church with you yesterday.
The topic is: Always Do First Things First.

Text is taken from 1st Samuel 17:15

But david went and returned from Saul to feed his father's sheep at Bethlehem.

David's life revolved around the sheep. His father put him in charge of them. He was called from the field the day he was anointed in 1st Samuel 16:11.
Even king Saul in his unstable state of mind knew that David kept the sheep,first samuel 16:19. And though he had other extracurricular activities, he took his primary assignment seriously after playing for the king's pleasure, he returned to the field of duty.

People engage in a lot of activities today. Some are born out of curiosity, some are pursuit for pleasure. Some are just status symbol of pride while, some are just into various things because everybody is also into it.
And though they give a lot of resources into these activities they are they are rarely satisfied.
Those activities have become a distraction from their primary purpose in life

Are you one of such people?.
Think and re-arrange your priority today. You can't be everybody and you can't be everywhere. Put first things first. And don't turn your mind into a dumping ground.
You can know a bit of many things but, you can't be a master of all things.

What is that thing that is close to your heart?. What is that thing that gives you fulfillment?. What is that thing that makes you feel accomplished?.
That is your primary purpose in life. In it lies your greatness. Don't be consumed by other extracurricular activities. they will only make you a performer and not an achiever.
So we should always put first things first.
