शहर के बीचों-बीच ही बने हुए डेरा भाई मस्तान सिंह के संचालक महंत कश्मीर सिंह को बारिश को इंतजार रहता है।
ऐतिहासिक शहर श्री मुक्तसर साहिब में बारिश के पानी की निकासी के उचित प्रबंध न होने के चलते आसमान पर बादल छाने पर बेशक लोगों की चिंता सताने लग जाती है, लेकिन शहर के बीचों-बीच ही बने हुए डेरा भाई मस्तान सिंह के संचालक महंत कश्मीर सिंह को बारिश को इंतजार रहता है। उन्हें इंतजार रहता है कि कब बारिश हो और उसके पानी का संरक्षण किया जा सके। गौरतलब है कि डेरा भाई मस्तान सिंह के पास शहर में करीब 30 एकड़ से अधिक जमीन है।
