Saturday Beer Challenge #3
Yesterday afternoon I had a delicious citra hop beer from the Ithaca Beer Company. It was called Hop kist and it was light and pretty.
Here's what it looked like poured in a pint glass (that came from another excellent brewery, New Belgium):
and from above:
This was a citra hop IPA and quite frothy on the pour. I live in an RV in a quiet park on an island, so I usually have a Friday afternoon beer sitting outside. Yesterday it rained all day (and today) so I slipped it inside, right here:
Those Geisha ladies have been on the RV windows for a long time and I painted that cigar box over ten years ago. This beer tasted light and punchy, it was very hoppy and cold from being in the ice box. It felt like I was drinking gold. I sipped this Hop kist for about twenty minutes: it stayed crisp the whole time. A five star IPA. Thanks for the beer challenge, fellow Steemians.
