Yesterday we celebrated the spirit of Christmas with these beautiful cupcakes. My mom and I love Christmas although this year is a little different..
Yesterday my aunts also told us that they are going to Colombia and that they will not be at our Christmas dinner that made us a little sad. But in spite of everything, I have my mom alive and it is the most important thing and so we are, she and I have so much to thank. And I know 2019 will be a great year.
Seeing that she is sad is not easy. But better times will come! I am a little absent from steemit as I have Flu, fever and headache... I hope to be a little better tomorrow.

The cupcakes are beautiful, but I am sorry that it will not be a traditional Christmas for you. It is hard to accept changes of holiday celebrations. I just got a card in the mail today from a cousin reminiscing about many of our Christmases in the past and how different it is today. But it is what it is and it will be a wonderful Christmas. I certainly hope you are feeling better by then though.
The changes are often not easy but that's what life is about. And it's always wonderful to remember our past Christmases and all that happiness. I hope to be better and if not I will spend a Christmas in my pajamas
Nothing wrong with Christmas in pj's! Except you may get funny looks if you show up for church like that! 😁
It is true. But today I feel a little better ... I think I will not need the pajamas anymore😂

Christmas tree and cakes look great! There are moments in life when things do not look good at all and depend on everyone's power to get over them. Fortunately, these moments are fleeting after bad will come good, definitely. I like the way you face these moments! I wish you good holidays with your mother and you don't lose hope.
