10K training run W8D3 (fiftyrunstillmay 11/50 & Run for Steem)
I finished my 8th week yesterday with the third session. It was a long farltek and the less I can say is that it was not easy!
The training consisted of 25' of warm up then 6 times 3' at a 3'54"/km pace with 3' of rest between them and finally 10' of cool down.
I already did some fartlek of 3' at this pace but not as many repetitions. The last two were really hard and I struggled to keep up the pace but I'm glad I did!
You can see my Strava session below. As you can see, it was quite a long session with 14 km and I can feel it in my legs today!

I don't why and if it's really useful but I have again a test on 10K at the end of this week. I think it's strange to have 2 tests like this separated by only 2 weeks. What do you think about it?

Thank you for participating in this weeks #runforsteem challenge. Pls dont forget to link the challenge in your post so we can keep growing ;)
Yes, you're right! I will do that :)
Well done, keep going! What kind of tests are you talking about?
It's maybe not the good term to use but I just need to do a 10K as fast as I can to see my improvement. So I call that a test because it tests me before the real 10K in few weeks
So a sort of time-trial. Good luck!
Thank you!
