I just finished a 10.147km run that lasted about 1hh:8mm:0ss !
It's pissing down with rain, let's go for a run!
Three weeks till my first run anniversary when I huffed and puffed through the Couch to 5k Day 1, I've just broken the resistance to going a full 10k. I finally get what people say about this requiring mental as well as physical strength. My heart, lungs and legs all feel fine, it's been the inner voices that I've had to work hardest on.
I just had to run for 8 minutes more than I'd done before, but as with other milestones, I found I just had to get out of my own way and let me run further than I thought I was.
