RUNCOIN Distribution Round Four - Beneficiaries
Slowly, but steadily, RUNCOIN is getting some traction. It's the fourth distribution round and people are starting to get interested in this experiment. A few of the beneficiaries are long time participants already, while others are at their first round, but I know they are consistent runners, so targeting seems to be working.

Thanks for participating and keep running! The project is also slowly evolving on the technical side. Since there is a constant interest, I started to brainstorm a few technical approaches to the asset distribution. Stay tuned :)

Thanks for the plug. I've read the article but I don't think this is a direction that I want to follow. I used
custom_jsoncalls before, in an attempt to formalize and "blockchainize" a task management app, but I stopped because it is quite limited. In a way, it's whatOP_RETURNis for the bitcoin-based blockchains: interesting enough to study it, but too limited for a real-life case.I'm not saying you cannot build some things using this approach, but the app logic will be overwhelming at some point. You need more processes at the blockchain level, not more space at the storage level.
If you could combine
custom_jsonwith a minimal virtual machine, well, it would certainly make more sense. But that will require any of the following:For this project, specifically, I'm only looking at a way to distribute the assets which are already created, no more tokens will be minted. But in other projects, like hubcoin I'm building the blockchain form scratch (in this specific case, on a tendermint backend).
I don't want you to be discouraged by this comment, I don't think your solution is useless, on the contrary, but I think its use cases are limited. I really look forward to see what you come up with :)

Yeah, he did a follow up post on it as well where you can see my comments. I think there are ways it could be done as to not clutter up blogs with useless stuff as well.
