"Subterranea (1997) by IQ a jewel of neo-progressive rock"

Subterranea is the seventh album of the neoprogressive rock band IQ and one of my favorite works to begin to immerse in the symphonic waters of this outstanding British group ... originating from Playmouth, IQ is one of the iconic bands of the neoprogressive movement of 80, and although they were not as popular as Marilion or Pendragon, IQ managed to earn the respect of prog fans thanks to their wonderful music ... Subterranea is an example of this, a forceful album not as symphonic as their previous works, but with rock ingredients close to heavy metal, which musically gives more strength to the songs performed by the great vocalist Peter Nicholls ... Subterranea is an album to take into account if you like the neoprogressive genre, and it can be a very good point of game to enter this interesting musical world .... highly recommended ...
