-_ The Biggest Diamond Robbery In History _-
More than a decade later the police still do not know how this theft was achieved.
Belgium, year 2003. Nobody could imagine that in the Antwerp Diamond Bank would be commit a robbery that J.J. Abrams will go on the big screen, through production and distribution company Paramount Pictures and with Jeff Bridges as protagonist.
And no wonder, because the vault, considered impenetrable, was two floors below ground and with 10 levels of security that included: infrared detectors, Doppler radar, security cameras, magnetic fields, seismic sensors and a lock with more than 100 million combinations.
The booty was never found and the only arrested, the band's presumed leader, served only 10 years in prison, being released as early as 2013, and charged with the only evidence they got: circumstantial evidence of a salami sandwich thrown into the garbage and which presumably contained the man's saliva which I mention below.
An Italian born in 1952 and named Leonardo Notarbartolo, with great experience, presumed, to plan robberies and to supplant identities.
Time after his release from prison and with the future adaptation of his story in a film, Notarbartolo has offered some details of the robbery, such as that he was executed by the best professionals in the world, selected one by one as the best in their fields.

You'll be wondering how much they took away ... Well, that's just $100 million in diamonds.
Notarbartolo tried to remove some merit saying that when they arrived at the room where the diamond cases were, most were already empty and could only steal the remaining $20 million.
From these statements it follows that there could be an even greater plot than having already stolen much of the diamonds, used the robbery of Notarbartolo to claim through insurance the whole amount housed in the vault.
