XRP Hits $1.00!!!
Wow... what an amazing way to wake up! While I completely ignored the constant notifications from friends in the middle of the night desperately trying to tell me to check TradingView, I woke up to XRP surpassing $1.00!!
As if sitting in the top 5 of crypto currencies wasn't enough to bring it recognition- finally breaking the $1 mark will certainly peak some people's interest.
Outside of a supposed announcement from Ripple in regards to forming two new relationships, there isn't really anything that I can think of that would create such a spike in the price. And isn't as if the two new accounts is breaking news... we've known about this for more than a week.
Having said that, there is a ton of speculation surrounding it. We know they are not going to be financial institutions, but outside of that, there's nothing to go on. People are speculating the possibilities of Amazon, Uber, and AirBnB among other companies... but again, this is just XRP fans expressing their hopes. Can you imagine the likes of Amazon or Wal-Mart joining the Ripple Ranks!? Deeeeem, better hold on tight!
