Ya, it happened like 3 weeks ago. I think, but ya was always fun to see 100 votes and 2 views, it was all about content, that is probably why it is gone.
It was more like 6 months ago :) Weku has view counters still. The rumor I heard had to do with the developers not liking how it looked to the outside world where people would see a post $1000 and only have 18 views. Since the view numbers/payout was so different compared to all other monetization models.
I wish they would bring back the view counter. I have no idea why they took it away.
