I also noticed that engagement has dropped, maybe not only for the fork but also for August vacation and travelling. Making and contributing good quality posts on steemit is hard and takes time. It seems many are distracted from other things in this period.
I think we have a huge disparity between authors/readers. Meaning, we have all authors, and no readers. Lol. Hard to keep up with other content when you're creating a lot of your own. So it is understandable, but, still looking for ways to get more readers. If I want to talk to myself I can just lie down and do it, lol. I don't post on Steemit because I want to talk to myself though..
