Leftovers Review; One of The Best TV Shows Today

Source material for Leftovers is very interesting in itself and it is based on popular book from an author Tom Perrota and the main gist of it is that 2% of earth population just vanished in thin air. Only thing that is left from the people that stayed are the Leftovers of their former selves after that apocalyptic day, most of them are not quite right in their heads after the huge loss.

Story follows one family and their coping mechanisms and craziness that is happening around them every day. What is the cause of all that nobody knows and even now in it's last season people are speculating, at least those who hadn't read the book are.

Ever since the show was announced by HBO I took a notice and was interested from the get go, today in it's third season (only 4 episodes left until the end) the show continues to amaze me with every new episode. 

Every episode is like a movie in itself, it just shows again and again how advanced today's TV Shows are. Some guest stars will surprise you, music that hits the right note every time, scenes and actors are great, production quality of HBO shows is always on top level. 

It is a show that catapulted Jason Trudeau and Carrie Coon from mediocre to top tier actors, emmy nominations are are quite possible for them, even winning would not surprise me. That's how great they are. The whole cast did an outstanding job. 

Leftovers will keep you on the edge and every time you will ask yourself, WTF is going here?! For any fan of television series, that fact alone should be enough to watch it. Still 4 episodes to go, but I would easily rate the show 9.5/10!
