NETWORK was Sydney Lumet's greatest film and arguably the greatest screenplay in Hollywood history and yet was robbed of Best Picture after winning Best Screenplay and 3 of 4 Best Actors.

It tells the story of foreign powers using shell corporations to buy up corporate media in the 70's for the purpose of keeping special interests out of American news. Can you imagine this kind of movie being made today when studios won't even finance a story that places the Chinese government in a bad light?

Dugan Bridges is an award winning filmmaker whose work has been distributed by Amazon & TimeWarner while featured in the NY Times, USA Today, and MSNBC.
