Golden Kamuy - Anime review
Synopsis(taken from MAL)
In Hokkaido, the far northern lands of Japan, Sugimoto survived the Russo-Japanese war of the Meiji era. Nicknamed "Sugimoto the Immortal" during the war, he now seeks the riches promised by the gold rush in hopes of saving the widowed wife of his now deceased comrade from the war.
During his hunt of gold, he finds hints of a hidden stash of gold by corrupt criminals. Partnering with an Ainu girl that saves his life from the harsh climates of the north, they venture into a survival adventure to race against the criminals that seek the hidden stash.
Review
This anime mostly involves two characters, Immortal Sugimoto and the ainu girl, going together on a journey in order to find the lost gold, on they way they meet dangerous criminals and soldiers that are also after the gold and want the maps to the treasure that the MC is in possession of.
The story has nice fights, though i was a bit disgusted by the culinary taste of the MCs 😭, but that had nothing to do with the story and the fights in the anime.
The characters are weird and quirky, i like the personality of the MC, the story is not thag unique but their path,journey and the characters make it enjoyable.
Overall, i would rate it as 8 out of 10 ( 8/10).
It is not that I am against short posts where half of it is a quotation, but buying votes from Booster disrupts the reward system and defies the logic in the competition for making quality posts, called proof of brain. In short it is like a football team paying to get more goals.
