I wonder how many responses Ms. Ruth B. Kaplan of Old Westbury, NY received to this survey back in the day? I mean, I imagine the attendees of a science fiction convention might be a little more open-minded than members of the general public in 1985, but still... :)
I suppose that members of the Close Encounters SIG on Delphi might have been more willing to answer. On the plus side, name and address were optional so you could remain anonymous. A science fiction panel isn't a place I would typically associate with an STD panel. I wonder how well attended that was?
