8 of the boys have now been rescued from the cave
This story just has me by the short and curlies. I am just truly captivated by it.
So far 1 fatality has been reported and it was a highly trained former Thai navy seal. That should tell you exactly how dangerous all of this is. They are planing on taking 4 people out in each phase and there are 5 left in the cave so most likely 1 person will have to stay by themselves for a day or 2. They are removing the strongest of the bunch first so there is a high possibility that mare fatalities could occur in the last phases of this. Each person is escorted out of the cave by 2 divers and they are having to stop multiple times along the route to change air tanks. Many of the passage points along the way out are barely large enough for an adult to fit through so it makes it even more dangerous at the possibility of tearing an air hose while passing through the jagged hole in the rocks to get through. In an even more unbeleaveable twist Elon Musk has visited the site and has left a mini submarine for future use.
