Today I would like to look at Psalm 5 verse 11 to 12
11)But all who find safety in You will rejoice; they can always sing for joy.
Protect those who love You; because of You they are truly happy.
12)You bless those who obey you, LORD; your love protects them like a shield.
God's huge love for us can be seen through the faithfulness, goodness, patience and care He shows to us. We will be truly happy through God that bless us and protect us, God's love for us is like a shield that protects us from the arrows of evil.

I just returned from a hospital, where my wife's granddad is treated after a stroke. He also has dementia. His body is falling apart. He is in pain. He barely recognizes people he knew his entire life.
Please. Tell me more about the love and goodness of the Creator. Anyone who has the power to "design" human body, and does so with it all ending like this for the most of us, has an IQ of 50. Or he doesn't exist. But thanks for the uplfiting posts, really ;).
It is because He created us that He can do anything He wants. We do not always understand why He let certain things happen but we can always see in the end that it works out for the best. Sometimes through someone else's illness or suffering the Lord wants to teach the people around that person something. You must have a relationship with Him to understand these things and feel happy even in these bad circumstances. I will pray that you will find peace in this difficult time.
Hi @pavelnedobity, thank you for your question, it is a difficult question. Some people become sick and eventually die after some suffering, others die young in an unexpected accident, some die peacefully in their sleep, we don't know why things happen like that. I think @stardust gave a good explanation. A sudden death of a loved one for instance can teach us that life can end unexpectedly and ask the question are we ready to die and meet our creator. To suffer can also make us stronger as a person and make us to grow personally.
