Today I would like to look at 1 Corinthians 1 verse 18
18)For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
For the nonbelievers it seems like foolishness to believe that Jesus Christ has died on the cross and that He was resurrected to earn eternal life for us. Foolishness is however to reject the sacrifice, Jesus has made for us, as it leads to eternal death. Our power lies in the fact that we believe that Jesus has died, to pay for our sins.
