5> . and them do we abase him to the lowest of the low,
6> . except for those who belive and do good works:and theirs shall be a reward unfailingly
7< . What, then(o man) could henceforth cause you to give the lie to the judgment?
8> . Is not Allah the most just of judges??
lesson of surah al-tin

This surah unfolds one of the basic truth to the mankind:telling us that salvation. Lies in attaining true faith in God and in doing good to others.

In introducing this truth, God swears by 4 things which are 2 fruit-trees and two holy places.

The fig and the olive, what does this fruit have to do with God's swears??
The fig and the olive are values fruit in the Mediterranean particularly in plaestine and syria-lands where the longtime of abrahamic prophet preaches culminating in the mission of prophet issa(Jesus).

The other two places God swore with is the mount sinai;it's located by the north of the red sea where prophet musa(Moses) is reported to have recalled religious law. "this land made safe" (verse3), this is also understood to refer to the sacred area of makkah where the last prophet began his mission as a prophet.

Therefore these two trees and two places are understood by some commentators to symbolism the mission and teaching of the prophet who lived in those areas.

Allah then say He created man in the best form and nature (having at the creation told the angels to bow to him, having appointed man as His vice-gerent on earth).

However, because of the degree of freewill which Allah has given to man, he's capable of abusing the position of trust given to him, of rebelling against Allah, and of turning his abilities to do harm. Such people become debased, morally inferior to all forms of creation. However those good people who use their abilities to increase their faith in Allah and to do good in obedience to his will will not loose their excellent nature and and destiny, they'll be rewarded externally.

Man is then questioned whether there's any reason why he should deny this external moral law and whether Allah is not just in the way he judges human beings.......
