Can your CONSCIENCE OF SIN be clean?
10 For the law, having the shadow of the good things to come, not the very image of things, can never, by the same sacrifices that are offered continually each year, make those who come near perfect.
2 Otherwise they would cease to offer themselves, since those who pay this cult, clean once, would no longer have an awareness of sin.
3 But in these sacrifices every year remembrance of sins is made;
4 For the blood of bulls and goats can not take away sins.
Hebrews 10: 1-4
Here we see clearly this portion that speaks to the Hebrews, who each year offered sacrifice for sins (These only covered them for a year), These sacrifices were only SHADOWS of what was to come (The sacrifice of JESUS).
Only the sacrifice of Jesus took away the sin, HE KILLED it, that matter has been resolved on the cross.
AND NOT ONLY THAT
Something that nobody had been able to do "CLEANSED THE CONSCIOUSNESS OF SIN".
