What's a relationship really about? ?

It actually depends on how you define relationships since it involves different meanings attached to it. We have family relationships which has to do with blood ties or blood relation, we also have friend relationships which has to do with the type of relationship you have for your friends or people who are more closer to you, we also have marital relationships which exist between husband and wife, and I will actually stop at dating relationships which I think it's exactly what you are asking for now.

Relationship is all about you getting to know more about your partner before getting married. It is sometimes referred to as as boyfriend - girlfriend relationship which seems to be very common in our modern world. Some people actually see this form of relationship as a period to break ladies or guys heart with the feelings that they are into a relationship.

A true relationship is about you loving your partner for whom they are and not what they have. It involves sacrifice and expressing one's true love to one's partner at that moment. It is actually about expressing one's love and being with one's loved ones at that exact period of time.

After dating relationship is established and a sense of compassion and love is felt by both parties after knowing more about each other, they can then proceed to getting married if they are truly in love with each other.
