Back to the interesting fact about chipmunks; they have three-day memories. They can’t seem to remember anything beyond three days. When they store their food and don’t retrieve it before that three days period, they begin to search everywhere to get where they kept their food. In my language, we usually say ”Ore pe, asiwere gbagbe” which means ”A fool forgets an act of kindness or goodness.”.
A lot of people seem to always forget acts of kindness especially when it has taken a while. They seem to forget that they can run but they can’t hide. In my language we say, ”Iyan ogun odun a ma joni lowo” which means ”The yam mould of yesteryears scald still, the dipper’s hand”.
In life, you might not get what you pay for, but you will surely pay for what you get. A night full of passion can overnight turn to be a night full of pain. A lot of people hardly think about consequences and this is why it breaks my heart to see what we have reduced ourselves to as humans. We have come to accept terrible act of disloyalty as normal and this trend still exist. It’s sad.
We seem never to be bothered about how we leave our fellow human. We seem to be so concerned about what’s in it for us than the effect our actions would have on another fellow. It is disheartening. What happened to us as humans? Who and what turned us into this? Whatever happened to our conscience? We seem to throw caution to the wind even when our heart whispers otherwise.
A lot happens in relationship too. A lot of people just want to date this person because this person has this or that. It is okay to look for security in relationships so I won’t delve into that, but what I have issues with is, when that person has done all he or she needed to do just to please you, you seem to think that person doesn’t have a place in your future anymore, so what happened? Why lead the person on? Why not give a clear definition of what you both were about right from the start, before getting all this person gave you?

People forget about all the kindness just by saying thank you. They never bothered to repay or oblige to other which is more seen in current generation. Everything that dazzle is not gold. So be patience with your choice...after all even diamond are found in coal.

Dear @olawalium ,it's right that if you can't accept her as a future then there is no need to show sympathy to her from beginning.
Make it clear from start that what kind of relation it is.
Yes, my friend, a lot of people focus on their own gains rather than think of the long-term effect of their choice. Why lead her on when you know she is not who you wanted? Why promise her? Why not make it clear from the beginning? A lot of people are selfish. Thanks my friend.
I learnt whatever you do in life, just do it for God, not for human being because most human being are just born to be an ingrate. Even in relationships whatever you do for your spouse, have it in mind that you do it for God
Human attitude makes it hard as you have rightly said. It hurts sometimes but this guy should have made it clear to this lady. If she would help her she would have, and he shouldn't have promised love just to scam her.
