Promoting Steemit: Breaking New Heights
With the popularity in a lot of social media, it is very important that steemit gains this popularity so that more people get to use this wonderful platform.
Having participated in promoting steemit a day ago with my video on YouTube, I am very excited that people are viewing and watching it.
Joining steemit for me was through @imohmitch and I would say it is the best thing that happened to me in 2022. There are a lot of people who would also want to enjoy the benefits of steemit.
The Steemit platform is very organic and gives room for learning and development. In my 1 year and some months on steemit, I have seen improvements in my writing, I have studied and research more and this has also helped me in other parts of my life.
Content of the Video
The promotional video made by me on and on YouTube, will help people who haven't come across steemit or who wants to know about Steemit to have the right knowledge they need.
- The video started out with explaining what steemit is and trying to compare the similarities it has with the conventional social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter etc.. people want a simplified social media platform, so telling them about how friendly the interface is will expand their interest about steemit.
The video also gave a detailed run down of what is expected of its users. A lot of people might think that steemit is for professional content creators and not for them...well I made sure that this was addressed accordingly. Telling them that Steemit makes creating content easy and cool is a plus, because users will find it interesting.
I also highlighted the benefits of steemit, which included creating content, learning about other people's cultures and arts and a lot of other things.
My video is detailed and also included how to sign-up on steemit which makes it easier for new users to hop on the platform.
The video took some hours of shooting and editing and I was quite happy when I was done with it.

The essence of this video is to promote steemit and also to educate people that steemit isn't just a conventional social media platform but it is the first of its kind when it comes to decentralisation.
A social media on the Web3 blockchain is something really beautiful and encouraging, so we need to promote this.
