Want a healthy twist to the spaghetti and meatballs? One way to cut the carbs WAAAYY down on this popular dish is to substitute the pasta for spaghetti squash! It's not only nutritious but oh so delish!
First I start with creating my homemade marinara sauce. It's so easy to make!
Then I make meatballs with ground turkey which cuts down the fat and calories from traditional pork or beef meat balls.
Next I bake spaghetti squash, and scrape out the vegetable flesh to create my "Faux Pasta." Spaghetti Squash is such a yummy alternative to high carb pasta!
Top with sauteed mushroom and garlic and enjoy your spaghetti and meat balls with no guilt!
