What snacks to prepare for the New Year
For the New Year it is worth preparing special holiday snacks : a cheese snowman, potato trees and canapes in the form of Christmas socks. And in the center of the table you can put a Christmas tree of olives .
Here you will find delicious shrimps in bacon and on chips, cucumber baskets and pancakes with salmon, penguins from olives.
Cucumber baskets with smoked salmon
Ingredients
- 1½ large cucumber;
- 120 g cream cheese;
- ½ bunch of dill;
- 1 teaspoon of lemon zest;
- ½ teaspoon of lemon juice;
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper;
- 120 g smoked salmon.
Cooking
Cut the cucumbers into 12 circles 2 cm thick (buttocks need to be cut). With a small spoon, make a deepening in each circle to about the middle. Transfer the cucumbers on a paper towel for 15 minutes to make the glass excess liquid.
Meanwhile, mix the cream cheese, chopped dill (leave a few twigs for decoration), zest, juice and black pepper. Fill each basket with ½ teaspoon of cream.
Cut the salmon into small thin strips, roll them into rolls and put on a cream. Insert a small sprig of dill inside each fish roll.
