Hot, Spicy & Tangy Chic Peas!! (100% Original)
Today, i am going to share with steemians an original "Hot, Spicy & Tangy Chic Peas" Recipe.
INGREDIENTS:
onions finely chopped 2 big
tomatoes 3-4 nos finely diced
chic peas-300 grams
ginger garlic paste 1tsp
salt-to taste
chilli powder-1/2tsp
turmeric-1/2tsp
corriander-1bunch finely chopped
green chillies 1nos
all spice powder -1tsp
lemon -1 nos
cardamon - 6 nos
bay leaf - 1 nos
oil - 3-4 tblspn
METHOD:
Step 1:
Soak chicpeas overnight in ample of water next morning pressure cook chic peas along with 1 bay leaf cardamon 3 nos and water ..till chic peas turn tender, but not overcooked.
Step 2:
In big wok heat 3-4 tablespoon oil add 3 cardamons and immediately add finely chopped onions fry till they turn pink but not brown.
Step3:
Add ginger garlic paste fry on low flame for 1 minute then add salt, chili powder, all spice powder , turmeric, tomatoes and add 1 cup of water and let it cook till oil starts appearing and tomatoes are a little tender.
Step4:
Add the boiled chic peas and all spice powder , mix well add 1 1/2 cup of water and mix add finely chopped coriander, green chili, mix well. Mash a few chic peas while cooking and cook on low flame for a few minutes, lastly squeeze lemon on top.
Step 5:
Remove and garnish with chopped coriander and lemon wedges, serve hot with any bread.
