This is not about the movie...

I've tales and witnessed a few of them myself of weddings that cost a fortune and each time i hear such tales i feel the same way.

It is completely unnecessary and a total waste to spend so much money on a single event.
What is the reason for spending so much. Some would say its a celebration some would say its a special occasion and all that.
But see make we talk true... Even if you spend dangote's net worth on a wedding e too sure me say people for forget. No be say make you no spend money o but get sense na.

Imagine a man that makes 1million naira a year spending 1million naira for his wedding. E mean say e jus blow 1 year salary on one day. One event.

See me i dey always talk am... Even if i get bastard money e pay make i use the money buy my wife car or start business for am or even sponsor her siblings go school than make i pack am go put inside my wedding.

Why would you pay 150k for a gown you would wear only once? Abi you dey plan wear am go another pesn wedding.
I get that women dream of the grandeur of their weddings and would spare no resource to make that dream come true but think about it for a minuite. A wedding you 500k on can be just as grand as any.

Its so bad that some spend so much that in the months to come they struggle to feed.

A wedding is just a day.... Theres a lifetime still ahead so why blow it all now. Invest, build, plan for your future together instead wasting all of it on a single event.

I know a couple ladies who share my viees on this and truly it is wise in my opinion.

Anyway im just ranting....
