Why do people add just to delete?
This applies to all social media. It's honestly annoying to see people follow me, I follow back, they unfollow me.
Like, I get it, I know why, just annoying.

@islandliving is right. However, some people follow just to get you to follow, then they unfollow.
It's a sort of childish way to get followers especially on twitter.
The best thing is to ignore them and keep blogging quality.
Pretty much; it just gets my gears grinding. As someone that works in social media management, it is petty and annoying.

It's like a relationship. Someone assumed someone else has substance. Once it's not to their liking; they repel. Personal choice.
Never mind them but keep on blogging meaningful contents.
No, it's a social media tactic to follow a wide base, then unfollow afterward. Most people don't run statistics on their own profile so they don't notice the unfollow.
This is a cheap way to inflate user stats. Coincidentally, I didn't unfollow due the the type of content he provides.
