Meanwhile back at the Ranch
It wa a late start but we finally got in some more fencing Saturday afternoon. We have had lots of rain the last few days. That is awsome but we are having to get out there and fence in the narrow windows of dry weather.
My eldest grandson made it out to help. We managed to get quite a few posts in the ground. The ground is so wet we have been able to sharpen and drive the wood posts too.
The sunsets are flat out amazing out here.
Sunday we bring out our first batch of calves!
The grass looks great. What an amazing sunset.
Some area have been a bit overgrazed the last few years but the wet spring is really helping to bring back the grass. Looking forward to the challenge of rebuilding the grass.
I am sure you will succeed. When we bought our farm it had been overgrazed. Just takes time and it will come back
