I had the most amazing time in Udaipur visiting Sahelyion Ki Bari, City of Lakes with Lake Pichola, Lake Palace where Shah Jahan spent some time in hiding from his mother and City Palace....and everything in between

Lake Palace or Jag Nivas in the Lake Pichola is now a heritage hotel run by Taj group. It was once a summer palace of Sisodia rulers. It is voted as the most romantic hotel in the world and in India. Jaisamand Lake or Dhebar Lake is considered as the second largest artificial lake in Asia. It was constructed during the rule of Rana Jai Singh. Jaisamand Lake consists of 7 islands and a largest dam. The lake was built while constructing a dam for the Gomti River.
