ragdoll cattery

Having a ragdoll cat should be a very satisfying partnership on both sides, yours since the ragdoll is cute, fluffy and likes cuddling up to you, and the theirs since they get to appear cute, fluffy and cuddle around you.

Ragdoll cats are really very lovable creatures, usually very attached to their owners, and demonstrate this attachment by following them around for days at a time. Attempting to hide from a ragdoll cat is futile, as they will seek you out and punish you with further snuggles.

So having a ragdoll cattery is inviting a wonderfully loving friend into your house, wonderful, but clingy. They are not an unbiased cat, they don't wander off for days at any given time, they don't leave; only to return for supper, instead they stick near to those they love, rarely leaving their side and insisting upon as much as attention as you choose to give them.

You may not own a ragdoll cat, it's element of your household, it is really a close (furry) friend, which refuses to be seen as property, the ragdoll cat doesn't encourage ownership, but love and affection. Whether anyone can definitely own a pet at all is something to be debated, a dog perhaps, but a pet, especially a ragdoll cat, chooses to live with you, not the other way around.

If you choose a ragdoll cat to be your friend, you then are choosing all of the wonderful, yet strange behaviours with this breed. A ragdoll needs constant company, leave them alone for just about any amount of time and they get very upset, and they will certainly tell you when you return home, they are likely to get depressed if left alone for long periods of time. And nobody wants a depressed cat.

They are much too trusting, which means you can't just put them outside for some time, when they get a bit annoying, as they enter into a number of scrapes. Plus, they cling to you almost constantly, which means you will most likely accidentally tread on your ragdoll more than once. With a ragdoll , you need to be constantly aware!

Despite their casual temperament, they are generally rather noisy creatures - especially if you will work or watching TV. They will talk to you for hours at any given time, "meow this," and "meow that," and you have no idea what they're saying, which means you only have to nod along.

They tend to eat a great deal, for their rather large size, so they're typically hungry, anything you are eating is fair game to a ragdoll , all things considered, why not share?

But the fact remains, many ragdolls end up in rescue centres since the owners didn't realize just how co-dependent ragdolls may be, many cats will be fine with someone feeding them when you are on christmas, a ragdoll should be put in a cattery.

And, despite their apparent requirement for less grooming, many ragdoll owners claim that grooming is still essential regularly, otherwise expect a ragdoll with knots and matted fur, perhaps it will depend on which they get around, in any event, having a ragdoll cattery, or even a ragdoll owning you is a great responsibility never to be studied lightly, but if you're willing to include the hours, you can become with really a lovely family pet for several, many years.
