Mantis religiosa - part 2
Today I will continue showing pictures of my Praying Mantis.
His wings have already grown.
The wings are well developed in both the male and the female.
Unfortunately, I could not find his subsequent "skins" after molting.
Mantises molt during their life from 5 to 8 times, it depends on their species and gender.
The color of praying mantises is very variable, their color varies from green or yellow to brown-gray or dark brown.
The length of the male is approximately 4.2 cm to 5.2 cm.
The length of the female is approximately 4.8 cm to 7.5 cm.
The life span of the praying mantis is less than one year.
But some females are able to live up to one and a half years.

I have a video where the Praying Mantis is hunting a fly, in the end it was so slow, the fly flew away :-)))
