Qurator's Tasty Tuesday #95 - Wan Tan Noodles

Here I have a photo of one of the most delicious Wan Tan noodles from back home. Prepared by just a small town cook who opens his stall from wee hours in the morning till late afternoon. Serving customers such as me who patrons this co-shared coffee shop in USJ 1, Subang Jaya for almost three decades.

Wan Tan noodles is factory made flour noodles so it can be kept for months so long as its stored in a cool and dry pantry. Served with BBQ lean pork meat and blanched green vegetables. The important part of this dish is the sauce which is a mixture of soya sauce, thick soya sauce and other special magic seasonings; something that he wouldn't share with me. The pickle green chili are the best condiments when eating this noodle dish.

Wan Tan noodle can be eaten at any time of the day; after all that's how our Malaysian lifestyle is. Everything can be enjoyed 24/7/365 !
