Qurator's Tasty Tuesday #101 | Banh Canh Cua @ Crab Noodle Soup

Bánh Canh Cua is a very popular noodle broth amongst the Vietnamese. It translates to Crab Noodle Broth which is a rich, thick crab soup, often with the addition of quail eggs served with rice noodles.

You will find plenty of crab meat, pork sliced meat and in some occasion, you can also add in pork liver in the broth. Nearby to where I stay at Nguyen Canh Chan, Quan 1, Saigon there are several shops offering this dish on their menu. I've even seen many Grab Bikes picking up orders from one specific shop. Guess this shop must be very popular among the locals.

Though I have the Grab app on my phone, I have absolutely no idea how to order as everything is in Vietnamese which is pretty hard. You might end up ordering the wrong food from the wrong shop.

Anyhow, this dish is really good mainly because of its rich broth. Next time, you're in Vietnam, make sure you try this dish. It is indeed very mind blowing!
